Clean roses by removing all leaves from stock so that no leaves will be submerged under water. (any leaves that are left in the water may contaminate it causing bacteria to grow)

It is important to cut each flower at least 1 inch from the bottom directly submerged under the water. By cutting the rose under water, the flower will absorb water rather than oxygen. Once the rose has taken in oxygen, a pocket of air is trapped in the rose head and the flower may droop. By cutting your flower under water you will increase its life and a more beautiful flower.

Next carefully remove any guard petals from the head of the flower. (guard petals are outer petals which protect the flower) We recommend that you remove at least 2 outer petals, however, sometimes it maybe necessary to remove up to 4.

Display arrangement in cool dry place and enjoy.
